The final scene of the film Stalker, in which the freckled “Monkey” moves cups with the power of her mind, features a poem by Fyodor Tyutchev: Люблю глаза твои, мой друг. Björk’s Dull Flame of Desire is an English adaptation of the same poem.

Listening to both versions led me to wonder how the “same” text might sound in other languages—Spanish, Finnish, or Japanese.
