Each book submitted for this annual competition is accompanied by its technical specifications. This catalogue offers an overview of every designer, publisher, paper choice, format, binding style, etc., organized in alphabetical order. The left-hand pages feature photographs of pages with similar content found across 30 books, such as sunsets, cars, chairs, and pink backgrounds.
The second part of the catalogue, printed on silky paper, showcases the front and back covers as well as the spines, reproduced in black and white at full scale.
The printed results, along with the video installation on two screens aligned like an open book, were displayed at the Stedelijk Museum as part of the official selection exhibition.
Thank you Esther Scholten, Thomas Castro and Rietveld Academie for this opportunity.
